SPA MAINTENANCE

HOW TO MAINTAIN HOT TUB/SPA WATER?

Once the water has been balanced properly, to maintain a hot tub/spa only takes a few minutes a week.

Why balance the water?

  • So that products such as chlorine, the most expensive one (except for bromine), work at full capacity.
  • For bathers' comfort.
  • For your wallet.
  • To avoid problems such as biofilm.
  • So that the water is clear and it's swimmable anytime.

How to balance the water?

  • Find out the levels of total alkalinity, Ph, total hardness in the water.
  • Adjust them to their various ideal levels.

Chlorine/bromine/lithium level must be between 1 and 3 ppm, 24/7, since it's the only thing killing bacteria in water.

Then, once a week, add the product to remove scale, oxydize and that's it for chemicals.

Why oxydize?

So that chloramines which smell, burn the eyes, as well as organic waste (oils, hair, dead skin, urine, etc.) can be burned and eliminated.

The filter cartridge must be rinsed weekly and cleaned once a month with a cleaner.

Every 3 to 4 months, empty and refill. Before you empty the tub, add the product to clean the plumbing.

Then, balance the water.
